What we’re all about
Our vision
The Mountain Butler started because too many mountain vacations began with a grocery run instead of a deep breath. We wanted arriving at a cabin to feel like coming home — the fridge full, the coffee ready, nothing left on the list. So we built exactly that, shopped by hand from the Pagosa Springs stores we grew up with.
Then the question kept coming from people who never leave: could you just do mine? Which is fair. A weekly grocery run is ninety minutes you don’t get back, fifty-two times a year, and it’s the same ninety minutes whether you’re on vacation or not.
So this is that. One shop a week, the same person, at the store’s own prices. We’re starting with ten households so we can do it properly rather than quickly — and if it turns out nobody here wants it, we’d rather find that out now than pretend otherwise.
We also think the place that takes care of your family should take care of its own. Giving is built into the business, not bolted on: ten percent of profits go to food access across Archuleta County, so every shop you book helps stock a neighbor’s pantry too.
